Atlas bsg deadlock11/15/2023 ![]() The five Revenants came in smart.all at the same time. With a bit of luck.the wardrivers started the hack on the battlestar that was NOT under missile barrage.which gave important breathing room as the wardrivers were active just as the gunfight began. With a bit of maneuvering of both fighters and ships the Raiders were baited in early so I could get full fleet firepower to supplement the Vipers. with a major, major fighter scrum happening early. These fleets most certainly like to brawl. Facing serious opposition in the form of 4 Revenants, 2 Archanes, 2 Argo's, a Cerebes and a Cratous (sic) for added spice. Tonight's action feature "Force T" with a pair of Jupiter I, pair of Atlas carriers, pair of Adamants (nukes) and a pair of Orions (Torps). Technical support is nice.but the darn ship is a pig to fly. I definitely like the Orion more than the Valkyrie (better value). I used it once to avoid a small pile of Guided Missiles.only to watch the *$#& things turn around and re-aquire two turns later when I turned off stealth. Play it like a brawler version of an adamant. It was above them, but definitely less than 2000 meters in terms of horizontal distance.Īnd I was testing out this ships ability as a forward scout, though I think I'm just going to stick with the manticore since it has better range, and since the stealth mode has a bloody recharge.Īlso it makes more sense to just post relevant information in one of the few existing threads than make a new one.Īh - ok.I get the Orion now. The Orion's 6x Light guns are on top of it, it wants to dive not go up, lol. I'm honestly more weirded out by the fact that your Orion was apparently above the targets. On top of that, the Orion has a hull size of 2 which Colonial heavy guns aren't great at hitting from max range even with a positive lock - Most of those incoming rounds from the Minotaurs below you should have been from the heavy guns on top of them. Most ships and guns have god awful accuracy firing on targets that have not been positively ID'd. Originally posted by Sir Wagglepuss III:Odds are the Colonial ships that were firing did not have a DRADIS lock on the Orion. ![]() ![]() Odds are the Colonial ships that were firing did not have a DRADIS lock on the Orion. Over the course of the next 2 rounds I pulled it back, it took a few hits, but its armor wasn't even starting to weaken. Still, they should have hit it more often than they did. Now, the ship was a fair ways above them, but not unreasonably so. EVERY SINGLE SHOT MISSED.Īnd to top that off, the stealth mod was NOT enabled during this period. There were 4 minotaurs and a ranger, all firing at it in a single round. You will not be able to purchase your first blueprint until after Chapter Four: Cocalus and more will unlock as you progress through the main story missions.Originally posted by Sabaithal:Something to be noted, I used the orion earlier as a forward scout, and enemy ships seem to have the most incredibly difficult time hitting this thing. ![]() To bring up the screen, press "Y" and then select "Blueprints" from the menu. The blueprints screen can only be accessed from the strategy table (the tactical map showing the different planets and fleets). They cost varying amounts of Requisition Points (RP) depending on the quality of the individual blueprint sought. Blueprints are research items that, once purchased, will allow you to build better ships and equipment. Introduction To unlock this achievement you will need to purchase all of the blueprints in the single-player campaign.
